Chair: Debra S. Frank

The goal and intention of the Family Law Section is to provide relevant programs regarding family law.

Debra S. Frank was admitted to the California bar in 1977. She is also a member of the District of Columbia bar. She graduated from Boston University in 1970 with honors, Carnegie Institute of Technology (M.A., with honors, 1972), and Southwestern University School of Law (J.D., 1977). She is a Certified Family Law Specialist. She has been actively involved with Century City Bar Association, having served as President of the organization in 2003, and is a member of its Board of Governors.

She is a member of many family law organizations including the following: Los Angeles County Bar Association Family Law Section Secretary; Member Family, Law Section Executive Committee, 1998-2004, 2005-present; Editor, Family Law Reference Book, 1998-2000, 2002, 2004-present; Family Law Alternate Dispute Resolution Settlement Conference Officer, 1986-present; Officer and Founding Member, Family Law Inn of Court, 2007-present; State Bar of California Family Law Advisory Commission, Board of Legal Specialization (Commissioner, 2005-2008); State Bar of California, Family Law Executive Committee; Chair, Family Law Section Support Committee, South 1996-2008; Assistant Editor, Family Law News, 1995-1997, Editor, 1997-1998; Secretary-Treasurer, 1996-1997; Board Member, 1995-1999; Association of Certified Family Law Specialists: Newsletter Editor, 2000-2001, 2008-2009; Board Member 2000-2002, 2007-present; and the Beverly Hills Bar Association Family Law Section Executive Committee (2008-present).
