Tort Litigation

In conjunction with other sections, the Tort Litigation Section seeks to present MCLE Programs of practical interest to civil litigators. Recent examples include presentations on antitrust elements of otherwise ordinary civil cases and procedural guidance on dealing with the period between Judgment and Appeal.
Mitchell Stein is is on the Board of Governors of the CCBA. Mitchell is a partner in the litigation department at the Century City firm of Silver & Freedman. He practices principally in the field of commercial and tort litigation, and in addition, is a recognized expert in food safety, having successfully handled the defense of one of the parties associated with he infamous 1993 Seattle E. coli outbreak. He received a B.A. degree from the University of California at Irvine in 1974, and obtained his J.D. from Loyola Law School in 1978.
